From June 16，2017 to June 17,2017, the meeting of the national standard “the lead-carbon battery for power storage” working group was held in Qufu city, shandong province. Attending the meeting were experts and scholars from China electric power research institute, Guangdong power grid co. LTD, Nandu power generation, Shengyang power generation, etc.

Huafu, one of drafting units of the standard, was invited to the meeting. The meeting summed up the work of the previous stage, and then discussed the technical indicators and detection method of lead carbon batteries. Huafu expounded it conclusions of the phased study in the meeting. The draft is expected to be finished before July 2017.

The lead-carbon batteries made by Huafu have the advantage of long cycle life, excellent high rate discharge performance, and high safety. These batteries have been successfully used in several large foreign energy storage projects. The issue of national standard “the lead-carbon battery for power storage” will improve the application and development of lead carbon batteries.
