HUAFU lead carbon energy storage system won the bid for the renewable energy LAN project in Nima county of Tibet

  Recently, HUAFU new type lead carbon storage system successfully won the bid of world's highest altitude, the largest scale light storage (oil) micro grid power station -Huadian Tibet Nima county renewable energy local area network , The project is one of the livelihood projects,which is a major support project by Chinese government .

  The project constructed by the China Huadian Group Tibet Branch . Guodian Nanjing Automation Co., Ltd. designed and contracted. The whole project is made up of light storage (oil) power station and urban distribution network, including 22MW photovoltaic power station system, 12MW energy storage power bi-directional inverter, 12MWh lithium ion battery group, 36MWh lead carbon battery group and 2 sets of 1500kW diesel power generation machine.

  As a leader in energy storage industry, HUAFU has won the bid with leading technology and energy storage system solutions. HUAFU lead-carbon battery is researched and developed by HUAFU company and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in the national "973" project and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Innovating research and development high surface area graphite carbon and lead carbon composite, graphite composite grid , Polymer electrolyte technology. So that the 70% DOD cycle life can reach more than 4250 times, and the battery can operate in -50 ℃ ~ 65 ℃ , fully meet the big capacity,high specific energy, long deep cycle life, low cost, high and low temperature resistant, safe and recyclable, etc .; The project was listed in 2015 Jiangsu Province Major Scientific and Technological Achievements transform project.

  On October 10th, a group of experts from Chinese Light Industry Federation identified the project: the technical level has reached the international advanced level. The implementation of the project will end the foreign lead-carbon storage battery monopoly in China to achieve the localization of lead carbon storage battery, greatly improve the energy storage battery clean production level and technological progress, enhance Chinese energy storage equipment manufacturing the overall competitiveness and core technology.

    Nima County is located in the northwest of Naqu area in Tibet, with an average altitude of 4800m,  annual average temperature of 2.3 ℃, outdoor extreme minimum temperature below -44.6 ℃, the air is thin at high altitude, windy and snowy weather is common .Extreme harsh climatic environment, severe altitude sickness, raw material transport problem ,etc. Causing great difficulties to the construction .

    In front of the harsh environment, the tight schedule, and the difficulty of construction, HUAFU has arranged a professional construction team to rush to the destination for preliminary preparation. The first batch of HUAFU lead carbon energy storage system equipment has arrived in Tibet.
